Belly Dance III - Advanced
Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:30pmPrerequisite: at least 2 years of Belly Dance II - Intermediate or equivalent instruction. Admission to the class is by instructor permission only and/or audition.
Belly Dance III is an advanced performance class. It is catered to those dancers that are at an advanced level. The intermediate to advanced transition is much more intensive than the beginner to intermediate transition. This class will focus on tougher combinations, expanded drum rhythm & instrument identification, advanced body/muscle awareness, performance ability tweaking, music structure, and much more. Expect to be challenged and to have occasional out of class work (homework)!
Classes are focused on each individual’s goals. Group performances are available to those who desire to perform and are strictly voluntary. Performance rehearsals are held outside of regular class time. Performing is NOT required to attend class!
All classes are held at the Lockheed Martin Recreation Center in Fort Worth. See address below.
